An exciting opportunity in NG34 | Join a growing, forward-thinking travel business

Experienced travel consultants, your next adventure could start here!

We're looking for an experienced, passionate and commercially minded Full-Time Travel Consultant to join our growing travel business as we expand into the NG34 area. (Part-Time Roles available)

We're not your typical travel agency. We specialise in creating exceptional holidays around the world, from luxury tailor-made adventures and once-in-a-lifetime honeymoons to touring holidays, cruises, city breaks and bespoke packages. No two clients are the same, and that's exactly how we like it.

We're looking for someone who knows their way around the travel industry, loves turning holiday dreams into reality and has the sales skills, destination knowledge and personality to make every client experience special.

Please note: this is an experienced hire, not an entry-level position. You must have at least two years' sales experience within the travel industry.

The Role

As a Travel Consultant, you'll do much more than book holidays. You'll build relationships, uncover opportunities and create memorable travel experiences that keep clients coming back.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating inspiring itineraries for couples and families, covering luxury tailor-made holidays, honeymoons, worldwide touring, city breaks, cruises and bespoke packages.
  • Selling with expertise and confidence, arranging everything from accommodation and flights to excursions, airport lounges, car hire and other travel extras.
  • Delivering exceptional client service, managing the entire journey from the initial enquiry through to their return home and next adventure.
  • Converting enquiries into bookings, using your product knowledge, communication skills and commercial awareness to turn opportunities into sales.
  • Growing your own client base, generating new business, developing repeat and referral bookings, and building lasting relationships.
  • Representing the business, attending events, trade fairs and other opportunities to raise our profile and connect with new clients.
  • Working collaboratively, sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive, ambitious and fun team environment.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who combines genuine passion for travel with proven sales ability. You'll need:

  • A minimum of two years' sales experience within the travel industry, gained in a travel agency or tour operator environment.
  • Strong worldwide destination knowledge and the confidence to design and sell holidays across a range of travel styles.
  • A proven ability to convert enquiries into bookings and build lasting client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the confidence to deal with clients professionally and enthusiastically.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to sales, business development and following up opportunities.
  • A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering the kind of personal service that makes clients choose us time and time again.

We're particularly interested in people who enjoy going beyond the ordinary, take pride in their work and want to be part of an ambitious, growing business.

What's in it for you?

We believe great people deserve great opportunities. Our benefits include:

  • Commission-share bonus structure — benefit from your contribution to the business.
  • Discounted holidays — enjoy opportunities to experience more of the world.
  • Flexible hybrid working — flexibility within the requirements of the role and business.
  • Familiarisation trip opportunities — experience destinations and products first-hand.
  • Training and development — continue building your knowledge, skills and career.
  • The opportunity to grow with an ambitious business — make your mark as we continue to expand.
