Group Finance Manager

The Opportunity Reporting to the Finance Director, the Group Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day finance function, ensuring robust financial control, timely reporting and supporting key business decisions across the Group.
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple international entities, helping to shape financial strategy whilst leading and developing a talented finance team.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and board reporting packs
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
- Manage and develop the finance team, providing coaching and support
- Ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple group entities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management activities
- Support statutory accounts preparation and external audits
- Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance financial controls
- Partner with operational leaders to provide commercial insight and financial analysis
- Monitor business performance against budgets and KPIs
- Support strategic projects, acquisitions and international growth initiatives
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax requirements and internal policies
About You We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and can balance technical finance expertise with strong business partnering skills.
Essential Requirements - ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Group Finance Manager or Financial Controller role
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls and management accounting
- Experience managing and developing finance teams
- Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines effectively
Desirable - Experience within recruitment, professional services or multi-entity organisations
- Exposure to international finance operations
- Experience with system and process improvement projects
- Previous involvement in acquisitions or business integrations
