Our client, a leading international logistics and e-commerce solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Air Export Linehaul Coordinator to join their operations team in Feltham on a 12–15-month maternity cover contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience in air freight, export operations and airline coordination to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of international shipments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating air export bookings, preparing shipping documentation, monitoring airline capacity and flight schedules, and liaising with carriers, warehouse teams and internal departments to ensure shipments are processed and uplifted on time.

Duties :

• Prepare accurate air export documentation, including MAWBs, commercial invoices and CN documentation, in line with relevant procedures and requirements.
• Liaise with airlines and General Sales Agents (GSAs) to arrange bookings, secure flight capacity and coordinate equipment requirements.
• Monitor airline schedules, capacity and shipment performance, following up on delays and obtaining uplift confirmations.
• Maintain internal export schedules and provide clear processing instructions to warehouse teams.
• Monitor carrier performance and maintain accurate KPI records, operational reports and transport documentation.
• Work closely with warehouse management and operational teams to ensure export shipments are processed accurately and on time.
• Communicate shipment delays and operational issues promptly to the Client Services team.
• Coordinate with road transport teams to ensure appropriate vehicle allocation and timely delivery of shipments to airlines.
• Maintain carrier capacity in line with operational demand.
• Investigate and resolve air transport queries and issues throughout the shipping process.
• Update transport reports and escalate operational concerns to the relevant line managers and operations teams.
• Attend team briefings and meetings, supporting effective communication across departments.
• Provide operational support to the Linehaul Supervisor as required.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates should demonstrate:

• A minimum of two years' experience in air freight, export shipping or air transport operations.
• A sound understanding of airline operations, air freight processes and international shipping procedures.
• Experience planning and managing airline bookings, including forward planning for monthly capacity requirements.
• Experience liaising with airlines and negotiating or discussing rates.
• Knowledge of MAWB processing and experience using airline portals and internal transport systems.
• An understanding of postal and freight operations, including air import and export processes.
• Knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
• Experience using Box Top and ASM Sequoia systems would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach to resolving issues and making informed operational decisions.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team while supporting colleagues and management.
• A flexible approach to working hours to meet operational requirements.

Shifts are Monday - Friday & Tuesday - Saturday must be willing to work both.
