Business Development Representative

£30-35k Basic Salary (dependant on skills and experience) + open ended Commission scheme. 33 days annual holiday + Pension Scheme

Our client are seeking a driven individual with sales experience to join their successful internal team in supplying solutions to the UK’s major retailers, high street outlets, and Hospitality organisations. This is an exciting opportunity, with the successful individual joining an already successful, established business and experienced sales team.

You will be given all the tools to succeed - what we need is your passion, drive, and creativity and for you to use your personality and initiative to make it happen.

Location: Coventry (must live within a commutable distance)

Key Responsibilities

• Proactive outbound prospecting (calling new prospects, following up inbound sales enquiries)
• Creating meetings and demonstrations for the External Sales Manager
• Generating quotes and proposals
• Account management/administration.
• Upkeep of customer records within the CRM system

The main emphasis will be on creating new sales opportunities whilst developing growth within existing accounts.

Skills

• Experience of Business Development / making outbound B2B calls
• Ability to combine sales and account management.
• Ability to build and manage a prospect pipeline.
• Clear and professional telephone manner
• Proactive and able to work independently when required but also as part of a team.
• Well organised – able to stay on top of administrative tasks.

We are looking for somebody who is competitive, and results driven. Good communication skills are essential as is a confident telephone manner. The ability to work well within a team is key.
