We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established main contractor on an exciting retail construction project in Poole. Working alongside an experienced Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations during the fit-out and finishing stages of a flagship retail development. Responsibilities Overseeing subcontractors and daily site activities Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards Managing health & safety compliance on site Coordinating trades and maintaining workflow throughout the fit-out phase Conducting site inspections and progress reporting Assisting the Project Manager with programme delivery and client expectations Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on retail, commercial or fast-track fit-out projects SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certified Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain programme deadlines Experience working under a Project Manager on larger schemes is advantageous What's On Offer Competitive salary/package Opportunity to work on a high-profile retail development Supportive project team and established contractor Immediate start availableIf you're a Site Manager looking for your next challenge in Dorset and have experience delivering commercial or retail fit-out projects, we'd like to hear from you.
