Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths looking for flexible daily supply work across Sefton? Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting qualified Maths teachers to support secondary schools across the Sefton area, with an immediate start available.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to gain experience in a range of school settings, maintain a flexible working pattern or explore different teaching opportunities.

The Role - Teacher of Maths

As a Supply Teacher of Maths, you will:

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons to secondary school pupils across KS3 and KS4.
• Follow existing lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
• Adapt your teaching approach to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities.
• Support pupils in developing their mathematical knowledge, problem-solving skills and confidence.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to support learning and maintain high standards.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this Teacher of Maths role, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A flexible and reliable approach to daily supply work.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
