HR Manager

• Annual Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 (Pro rata)

Join an established fresh produce business as a Part-Time HR Manager. This role offers the unique opportunity to develop the HR function from scratch, enhancing support for the business and its employees.

Day-to-day of the role:

• HR Support: Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and provide HR guidance.
• Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage recruitment activities and support the onboarding of new starters.
• Employee Documentation: Prepare and manage HR documents such as contracts and offer letters.
• HR Administration: Keep employee records accurate and confidential.
• Employee Relations: Assist with absence management, probation reviews, and other employee relations.
• Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage all stages from onboarding to offboarding.
• Payroll Support: Maintain accurate employee data for payroll.
• Policies and Compliance: Develop and maintain HR policies to ensure legal compliance.
• Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
• External Partnerships: Coordinate with external HR and accountancy partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in HR management or as an HR Business Partner.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle.
• Ability to independently manage and develop HR functions.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in handling confidential information and building relationships.
• Knowledge of UK employment law.
