Hardware Design Engineer | Up to £50,000 | Colchester area | + Excellent Benefits We're looking for an experienced Hardware Design Engineer to join a well-established and innovative engineering business in the Colchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of electronic hardware development projects, working on a range of products from initial concept through to production. You'll be joining a supportive engineering team where your technical expertise and ideas will make a real impact. What You'll Be Doing Designing and developing analogue and digital electronic circuits Creating schematics and PCB layouts Leading hardware development projects from concept to production Selecting components, testing prototypes and debugging electronic circuits Working closely with software, mechanical and manufacturing teams Supporting existing products and driving continuous improvements Producing technical documentation and participating in design reviews What We're Looking For Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent industry experience Ideally 2–5 years' experience in electronic hardware design Strong knowledge of analogue and digital circuit design Experience with PCB design and schematic capture software Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment Good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage projects Experience with Altium Designer or RF circuit design would be advantageous What's in it for you? 25 days holiday + bank holidays Holiday buy and sell scheme Life assurance Gym/spa membership Employee Assistance Programme Training and further education opportunities Company social events Friendly team and genuine work-life balance Interested?
