Early Years Practitioner - Full Time & Part Time Opportunities

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioners to join welcoming nursery and early years settings across Yeovil. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available, making this an excellent role for experienced practitioners looking for flexibility as well as those seeking a long-term career within early years education.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing during their formative years. You will help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn through play and exploration.

The Role

• Supporting children aged 0-5 with their learning and development
• Planning and delivering engaging age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Promoting children's social, emotional, and educational development
• Ensuring safeguarding and welfare requirements are always met
• Supporting daily routines including mealtimes, outdoor play, and personal care where required
• Observing and recording children's progress

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of the EYFS framework
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK
