Description

• Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately and keep bookkeeping records up to date.
• Maintain clear documentation for financial entries, helping the accounting and finance team access reliable information.
• Check transaction details and resolve straightforward discrepancies to improve record accuracy.
• Organise invoices, receipts and supporting documents so financial information is easy to review.
• Update bookkeeping records in line with agreed processes and reporting needs.
• Prepare routine financial information for internal use, ensuring figures are clear and complete.
• Work closely with the accounting and finance function to keep records consistent during the temporary assignment.

Profile

A successful Bookkeeper should have:

• Practical experience of maintaining accurate bookkeeping records.
• Ability to record financial transactions clearly and consistently.
• Confidence checking financial information and identifying discrepancies.
• Experience organising invoices, receipts and other financial documents.
• Ability to keep records well structured and ready for review.
• A careful approach to handling financial data and routine finance tasks.

Job Offer

• Temporary Bookkeeper contract in Bournemouth.
• Hourly pay of £16 to £20, dependent on the level of experience.
