HGV Class 2 driver - NEWLY PASSED ACCEPTED Job : Temp to Perm 42 hours per week paid Start immediately Pay: £17.22 + Holiday £19.30 per hour Salary - £37K per Annum + up to £3K in bonuses Key Responsibilities * Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to complete scheduled delivery and collection routes. * Deliver to customers, including hotels, hospitals and other commercial sites. * Collect used linen and return it to the depot as required. * Load and unload cages. * Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift. * Ensure all delivery paperwork and relevant documentation are completed accurately. * Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and customer service. * Follow all road safety regulations, company procedures and health and safety requirements. * Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers regarding deliveries or delays. Requirements * Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. * Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. * A good understanding of drivers' hours and road safety regulations. * Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work. * Good communication and customer service skills. * Physically capable of handling delivery and collection duties where required
