Telehandler Operator / Telescopic Forklift Driver Selby, North Yorkshire £23.00 per hour CIS BMSL Group are recruiting for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join a major industrial engineering project in Selby, North Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity to secure 14 months of continuous work on a large-scale infrastructure project, starting Monday 9th November 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of a telehandler across the site while also supporting the site's stores and materials management function. This is a varied role suited to someone who is organised, safety-conscious and experienced working on busy industrial or construction projects. Duties * Operating a telehandler to support site operations * Loading, unloading and distributing materials across site * Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries * Managing and organising the site stores area * Issuing materials and equipment to site teams * Maintaining accurate stock control and housekeeping standards * Supporting site logistics and material movements as required Requirements * Valid CPCS or NPORS Card (with CSCS logo) * Proven telehandler operating experience on a large construction project * Previous experience working on industrial, engineering or construction projects * Experience within stores, logistics or materials control is advantageous * Strong commitment to health and safety What's on Offer * £23.00 per hour CIS * 58 hours per week, Monday to Friday * Overtime opportunities available * On-site parking * Immediate start available from 9th November 2026 * Long-term 14-month project with excellent continuity of work If you're an experienced Telehandler Operator looking for a stable, long-term role with a mix of plant operation and stores responsibilities, we would like to hear from you
