Fabricator  Location: Sheffield, S20 Job Type: Full-time Hours: Monday to Friday Pay: £15 +  The Role Winner Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Sheffield. The company manufactures a range of recycling machinery, including balers, compactors and bespoke machinery, all manufactured in-house at their Sheffield facility. The successful candidate will work as part of the workshop team, carrying out fabrication, welding, fitting and assembly work on a range of machinery and components. Key Responsibilities MIG welding and general fabrication Fabricating components and frames from drawings Fitting and assembling machinery and components Working with mild steel and other materials Reading and working from engineering drawings Measuring, cutting and preparing materials Using workshop machinery and hand tools Carrying out quality checks on completed work Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised workshop Supporting the wider production team when required About You The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a fabrication or welding environment and be confident working with mild steel. You should be able to work from engineering drawings, use fabrication tools and equipment safely, and produce work to a good standard. Experience with machinery fabrication, structural steel, heavy fabrication or bespoke engineering would be advantageous.
