Mechanical Engineer – Data Centre Construction Salary: €80,000–€90,000 + Package Location: Vienna, Austria Sector: Data Centre / Mission Critical Construction Employment: Permanent | Full-time We are recruiting an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support a major data centre construction project in Vienna, Austria. This opportunity is ideal for a mechanical engineering professional with experience in building services installations, technical coordination and construction delivery on large-scale projects, ideally within the data centre or mission-critical sector. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate mechanical engineering activities throughout construction. * Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical submittals. * Support the installation of HVAC, pipework and other mechanical building services. * Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, consultants and other disciplines. * Identify and resolve technical issues affecting site progress. * Monitor installation quality and compliance with project specifications. * Support inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities. * Maintain accurate technical documentation and report on progress. Requirements * Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer within construction or building services. * Strong understanding of mechanical systems and installation processes. * Data centre or mission-critical construction experience is advantageous. * Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications. * Experience coordinating mechanical works with multidisciplinary teams. * Strong technical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
