CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator (Heidenhain) - 5 Axis Location: Rugby Salary: £37,000 - £39,000 DOE Hours: Dayshift | Early Finish Every Friday Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Actio Recruitment are assisting a precision engineering manufacturer in Rugby with the recruitment of an experienced CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator to join their growing machining team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business producing high-precision components. The successful candidate will be working on modern 5-axis CNC milling machines, programming, setting and operating using Heidenhain controls. The Role * Programming, setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines * Producing precision components to tight tolerances * Editing and proving out programs using Heidenhain controls * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures * Carrying out self-inspection using standard measuring equipment * Maintaining high standards of quality and productivity * Working closely with the manufacturing and engineering teams Requirements * Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator * Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls * Experience programming and machining on 5-axis milling machines * Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings * Confident working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards * Apprentice trained or time-served machinist preferred * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Package * £37,000 - £39,000 per annum depending on experience * Stable dayshift role * lunchtime finish every Fridayy * Long-term career development opportunities If you are an experienced CNC Miller with Heidenhain programming experience looking to join a highly respected precision engineering company in Rugby, we would like to hear from you.
