The Role As Workshop Chargehand, your responsibilities will include: ·Supporting the day-to-day running of the workshop and coordinating workloads. ·Supervising, motivating and supporting a team of technicians. ·Allocating jobs and monitoring progress to ensure work is completed efficiently. ·Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs ·Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and technical faults ·Identifying faults and completing effective repairs What We're Looking For ·Previous experience as an HGV Technician, ideally within a commercial vehicle workshop. ·Experience in a supervisory, team leader or chargehand position, or the ability to demonstrate strong leadership potential. ·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. ·A good understanding of vehicle maintenance, servicing and repair procedures. ·The ability to organise workloads and support a team in a fast-paced workshop.   Contact Amy at Auto Skills UK to find out more or apply today.
