Catering Assistant

We are seeking a temporary Catering Assistant to join our school's kitchen team. This role is essential for covering long-term absence and involves supporting the daily operations of the school's catering services.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support the kitchen staff in inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Help in setting up the dining area for meal times and clearing away afterwards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role is preferred.
• Good understanding of hygiene and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
• Punctual, reliable, and committed to the role.
