Location: Longcross, Surrey, with regular UK travel
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 + bonus + benefits

Summary:
Our client is the UK's leading provider of location facilities and production support to the film and television industry. We are looking for a commercially driven Head of Sales to lead their next phase of growth-winning new productions, developing strategic relationships with studios, streamers and production companies, and taking their low-carbon solutions to more customers nationwide. This is a high-profile opportunity to shape the commercial direction of a much-loved, fast-moving business whose teams keep productions running, wherever filming takes place.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Group Commercial Director, you will own the sales strategy, pipeline and budget while working closely with branch, account management, logistics, sustainability and finance teams to ensure that every commitment is deliverable, profitable and aligned with the company's service standards.

• Build and manage a strong pipeline of productions, production companies, studios and streamers, balancing immediate targets with long-term growth.
• Develop relationships early in pre-production and position the company for full unit base, crowd day and location support opportunities.
• Grow existing accounts by promoting the company's complete solution across power, water, lighting, welfare, waste and ground protection.
• Lead high-value negotiations, preferred-supplier agreements and framework contracts, with a clear focus on margin and operational delivery.
• Turn their sustainability credentials into winning commercial proposals, including green power, battery and hybrid equipment, circular waste solutions and carbon reporting.
• Represent the business at industry events and build relationships with film commissions, guilds and sustainability bodies.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting and revenue forecasts, keeping the leadership team informed.

Experience:
You will combine strong commercial leadership with first-hand knowledge of the film and television production environment. You will be credible with senior decision-makers, comfortable working across multiple locations and motivated by the opportunity to make sustainability a genuine commercial advantage.

• Proven experience in business development, commercial management, key account management or sales leadership.
• Experience working in, or selling into, film and television, with a sound understanding of how productions are structured, budgeted and scheduled.
• A strong track record of winning new business, growing revenue and building lasting customer relationships.
• Confidence leading complex negotiations, supported by strong pricing, margin, forecasting and CRM skills.
• A genuine interest in sustainable production; knowledge of albert certification, carbon reporting or green production practices would be advantageous.
• An existing industry network and experience in location facilities, equipment hire, logistics or another operational service business would be desirable.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the UK.
