Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor Leeds or Sheffield | New-Build Commercial Projects Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join an established building services contractor, supporting the delivery of new-build commercial projects across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute QS with a strong Mechanical & Electrical background to take responsibility for the commercial management of projects, from procurement and cost control through to final accounts. The Role * Manage the commercial aspects of M&E packages on new-build commercial projects. * Prepare and manage project budgets, cost reports and forecasts. * Oversee subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments. * Manage variations, change control and contractual notices. * Monitor project costs, identify commercial risks and maximise profitability. * Prepare, negotiate and agree interim valuations and final accounts. * Work closely with project managers, site teams, clients and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery. * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the M&E / building services sector. * Experience working on new-build commercial construction projects. * Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services packages. * Excellent commercial, contractual, negotiation and cost management skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with project delivery teams.
