Stock Pickers & Night Stock Controllers

Wisbech | Permanent | £13.37 - £15.00ph DOE + Overtime

Are you looking for a permanent warehouse role with regular overtime, training and the opportunity to progress?

We are recruiting 4 permanent positions for a busy fresh produce operation in the Wisbech area (PE14). With their peak period approaching, they are looking for reliable people to join their established warehouse team as soon as possible.

Stock Picker x2

Pay: From £13.37ph, with the opportunity to increase to approx. £14ph
Hours: 45 hours per week, 5 days
Start time: 7am
Overtime: Regular overtime available, paid at 1.25x

Finish times vary depending on workload and can be around 5pm on quieter days or closer to 7pm during busy periods. A 5-day working pattern will be agreed, with some flexibility available.

Duties will include:

• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Using barcode scanners and warehouse systems
• Operating PPT equipment once trained
• Manual handling, generally around 5kg with occasional items up to 15kg
• Working accurately in a fast-paced environment

PPT experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training can be provided.

There is also the opportunity for the hourly rate to increase for those who perform well, demonstrate reliability and take on additional responsibility.

Night Warehouse Stock Controller x2

Pay: From £13.65ph, potentially £14.50-£15.00ph depending on experience
Shift: Permanent nights, likely Sunday-Thursday
Overtime: Paid at 1.25x

The night operation will work staggered shifts, with start times expected to be around 10pm and 3am. Exact hours will be discussed at interview.

Duties will include:

• Stock control and inventory management
• Stock counting and checking
• Investigating stock discrepancies
• Using barcode scanners and the Freshware system
• Supporting the wider warehouse operation
• Working closely with the Operations Manager

Previous stock control, inventory or warehouse experience would be an advantage. No FLT licence is required.

• Be reliable with a positive attitude
• Have a good conversational level of English
• Be comfortable with basic maths and counting
• Be able to follow instructions accurately
• Work well in a fast-paced environment
• Be flexible and adaptable as daily volumes can change quickly
