Gas & ASHP Engineer Location: North East (Houghton-le-Spring-based) Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £36,000 basic OTE: £45,000–£50,000 Benefits: Company van provided We are recruiting for a Gas & ASHP Engineer to join an established and growing renewable heating business operating across the North East. This is a varied role combining domestic gas work with renewable heating installations. You'll have the opportunity to work across both traditional heating systems and air source heat pumps, with a steady pipeline of local work and strong earning potential. What you'll be doing * Installing, servicing and repairing domestic gas boilers * Installing, commissioning and maintaining air source heat pumps * Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs * Ensuring all work meets current regulations and safety standards * Completing job sheets and relevant compliance documentation * Providing excellent customer service to domestic customers What you'll need * Valid ACS gas qualifications * G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification * Experience working on domestic gas systems * Air source heat pump experience is highly desirable * Full UK driving licence * A professional approach and good customer-service skills What's on offer * £36,000 basic salary * Realistic OTE of £45,000–£50,000 * Company van provided * Permanent, secure position * Consistent local work across the North East * Opportunity to develop your skills across gas and renewable heating technologies If you are an ACS and G3 qualified engineer looking for a varied role combining domestic gas and renewable heating, with excellent earning potential and a permanent position, we would like to hear from you
