Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a well-established business based in Ewell who are looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years' experience in an accountancy practice who is looking to develop their skills, gain more responsibility and progress their career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts.
• Supporting with management accounts preparation.
• Assisting with year end accounts
• Complete with VAT returns and tax computations.
• Carrying out bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end processes.
• Processing financial information and maintaining accurate records.
• Liaising with clients and dealing with general account queries.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in an accountancy practice or a similar accounts role.
• AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT, ACCA or ACA.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Some experience with accounts preparation and reconciliations.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A willingness to learn and develop within the role.
