Mechanical Engineering Lecturer Permanent, Full Time Location: the North West Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum Are you an experienced mechanical engineer looking to pass your skills on to the next generation, or an established lecturer ready for a new challenge? About the Role You'll join a training provider in the North West, delivering mechanical engineering programmes to learners at various levels, combining hands-on workshop sessions with classroom-based theory. If you haven't taught before, that's not a barrier: full teacher training and ongoing support are available to help you make the move from industry into education. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering engaging and practical lessons in mechanical engineering. Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans and learning resources. Assessing learner progress and providing timely, constructive feedback. Supporting learners to develop the skills and confidence needed for careers in the sector. Embedding current industry practice into your teaching. What We're Looking For Essential: A minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering Solid industry experience within a mechanical engineering environment A passion for teaching and developing learners Desirable (but not essential): A recognised teaching qualification If you're ready to bring your engineering expertise into the classroom, we'd love to hear from you.
