Hays Education is working in partnership with a college in East Manchester to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Law / Law Lecturer. The position is available for an November 2026 start and will run until April 2027.This is an excellent opportunity for a Law specialist looking to join a supportive college environment and make a positive impact on students throughout the academic year.

Your new role
As a Teacher of Law, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging Law lessons to college students for Btech
• Support learners in developing their knowledge, analytical skills and exam technique
• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain high expectations for student engagement and achievement
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department
• Contribute positively to the wider college community

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have:

• Experience teaching Law within a college, sixth form or secondary education setting for the Btech syllabus
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Law
• An appropriate teaching qualification or relevant teaching experience
• The ability to engage and motivate learners
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
