Area Sales Representative | Premium Eyewear | Northern England

Zest Optical is working in partnership with a leading global eyewear company to recruit an experienced Area Sales Representative to cover Northern England.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an internationally recognised business with an impressive portfolio of premium fashion and eyewear brands.

You will take responsibility for managing and developing an established customer base across Northern England while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities. Working closely with independent optical practices and key decision-makers, you'll build long-term commercial relationships, increase brand presence and drive sustainable sales growth across the territory.

Area Sales Representative - Role

• Manage and develop existing optical accounts across the North.
• Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities throughout the territory.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Agree annual customer targets alongside the National Sales Manager and drive performance against these.
• Increase brand representation, visibility and product penetration within optical practices.
• Analyse territory performance and identify opportunities for further growth.
• Generate and follow up new business leads.
• Deliver a consultative, solutions-focused approach to customers.

Area Sales Representative - Requirements

• Strong track record within field sales and business development.
• Ideally 5+ years' sales experience.
• Previous experience within eyewear, optics or fashion would be advantageous, although candidates from other relevant industries will be considered.
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Customer-focused and solutions-oriented.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
