Quality Assurance Technologist

Location: Near Haverfordwest
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Permanent

We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technologist to join a successful food manufacturing business. Working within a busy Technical team, you will play a key role in supporting food safety, quality, and compliance standards across the site, ensuring products consistently meet customer, legal, and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Quality team with daily quality checks, reporting, and administrative tasks.
• Conduct routine GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) audits and report findings.
• Accurately input and maintain testing, inspection, and analysis data.
• Assist with calibration records and carry out weekly calibration checks.
• Update and maintain quality procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
• Support site compliance with food safety, quality, and customer standards.
• Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities where required.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of HACCP and food safety principles.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Competent IT and data entry skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Quality-focused mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
