Finance Manager

• Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to take ownership of financial operations, lead a small team, and work closely with senior leadership. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational efficiency across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the finance function.
• Lead, support and develop a small finance team.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and governance requirements.
• Manage client and office accounts, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and management reporting activities.
• Assist with year-end processes, statutory accounts preparation and external audits.
• Monitor financial systems and controls, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Manage monthly payroll processes and liaise with HR colleagues.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders on financial and operational matters.
• Manage supplier relationships and key service contracts.
• Promote strong financial discipline and ensure deadlines are consistently achieved.

About You

• Strong understanding and application of SRA Accounts Rules and legal cashiering procedures.
