This is an exciting opportunity to teach Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to contribute to Citizenship education being highly desirable. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging students to explore diverse beliefs, values, and social issues.

The Role

• Teach Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver Citizenship lessons where required
• Plan and deliver creative, inclusive, and engaging lessons
• Monitor and support student progress to achieve excellent outcomes
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Religious Studies in a secondary school setting
• Ability to teach Citizenship is highly desirable
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for inspiring young people and promoting discussion, debate, and understanding
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
