Transport Shift Manager

We're now looking for a Transport Shift Manager to take the helm of our daily transport operations!

In this pivotal role, you will lead our dynamic team to achieve excellence and drive success throughout our transport network. Join us and be a key player in shaping the future of logistics!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Act as nominated Transport Shift Manager on the Standard National & International Operator's Licence and keep to all licence undertakings
• Ensure legal compliance across the whole fleet: drivers' hours, Working Time Directive, tachograph rules and driver licence checks
• Keep all DHL transport systems up to date and accurate: Key2, Microlise, Tachomaster, Fuel ICE
• Plan training and development for all drivers, including Driver CPC (DQC) hours and refresher training
• Investigate all road traffic incidents, vehicle damage and near misses, and put corrective actions in place

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Previous Transport Management Experience
• Can lead from the front, winning hearts and minds and providing coaching and mentorship
• Hold an International CPC Qualification (essential)
• Have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Aren't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in when needed
