BDS are currently recruiting for Sheltered Housing Assistant in the Okehampton area The hours are 35 hours per week-Monday to Friday The Pay rate is £13.81 PAYE-£18.12 umbrella This is a temp ongoing role with the poteintial to go permanent Main Duties: Daily welfare checks Reporting repairs To assist the Extra Care Scheme Manager to provide a high-quality housing management service which ensures the delivery of safe and secure service provision. To work as directed by the Extra Care Scheme Manager to ensure housing management services exceed customer expectation. Provide advice and guidance for repairs, tenancy management and rents, handing on to specialist teams across Guinness where required to ensure a high quality and responsive service for Extra Care residents. Health and Safety building checks Requirements: * Experience of working within a sheltered housing environment or services with older adults * Able to work together and communicate well with others. * Good level of IT skills and knowledge. * Excellent customer service skills * Good administration skills.
