The organisation offers a supportive working environment where finance plays an important role in supporting the wider business and its day-to-day operations.

They are now looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in transactional finance and some exposure to management accounts who is looking to develop their accounting experience further. Working closely with a supportive manager, you'll be involved in a range of finance activities, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility for month-end and management accounts as your experience develops.

• Exposure to managemnet accounts and month-end process, with an interest in developing these skills further.

• Previous experience in transactional finance, including areas such as purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations or payment processing.

• A flexible approach to work, with the ability to support ad hoc finance tasks and wider departmental activities as required.

• Good communication skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively with colleagues across the business.

• The opportunity to build on your existing experience, taking on greater responsibility for management accounts over time.

• Support and guidance from an experienced manager who will help you develop your accounting skills.
