A highly respected accountancy practice in Manchester is continuing to grow its tax offering and is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Senior to join its established and ambitious team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a broad client portfolio ranging from entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses to large corporate groups, whilst gaining exposure to both compliance and advisory work.

The Opportunity

Joining a collaborative and technically strong tax team, you'll be responsible for managing your own portfolio whilst supporting a variety of tax planning and advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients across a range of sectors.
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns and computations.
• Assisting with a wide variety of tax advisory assignments.
• Supporting corporate transactions, restructures, and group reorganisations.
• Identifying tax-saving opportunities and advising clients on tax-efficient strategies.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.

About You

We're keen to speak with individuals who have:

• Experience working within Corporate Tax in an accountancy practice environment.
• ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualifications (or are actively studying towards them).
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• A proactive and commercial approach to client service.
• Ambition to progress within a growing and successful firm.
