FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established network and telecommunications solutions business with the recruitment of a Telecoms Account Manager.

Permanent, full-time position based in Northampton, with hybrid working available.

Salary

£30,000 – £40,000 basic salary + OTE / performance-related commission + additional benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional to manage customer relationships while developing new business across telecommunications, network hardware, structured cabling and wireless network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with new and existing business customers.
• Identify and develop profitable new business opportunities.
• Prospect potential clients through outbound calls, networking and targeted sales activity.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through to successful close.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate network and telecoms solutions.
• Develop new sales channels and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Prepare customer proposals, presentations and commercial quotations.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with customers.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurate CRM records.
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new opportunities.
• Develop sales plans and strategies to support revenue growth.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive the right technical solution.
• Build long-term relationships with key customer contacts and decision-makers.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within B2B sales, account management or business development.
• Experience selling telecommunications, network hardware, structured cabling, wireless networks or related IT infrastructure solutions is essential.
• Proven track record of winning new business.
• Strong account management and relationship-building ability.
• Confident prospecting and engaging new customers.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Commercially aware and comfortable managing the complete sales cycle.
• Experience within networking, IT infrastructure or a related technical market.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working independently while contributing to a wider team.
• Full unrestricted right to work in the UK required.
