Our client, a well-established organisation, is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a temporary basis.

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you'll take ownership of a varied transactional finance workload, covering purchase ledger, accounts, reconciliations and general finance administration. You'll liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries, maintain accurate records and ensure payments are processed efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for an organised and detail-focused finance professional looking for a hands-on role within a supportive team.

The responsibilities:

• Process and maintain purchase ledger transactions
• Check, code and process invoices and credit notes
• Reconcile supplier and financial accounts
• Manage supplier queries and payment discrepancies
• Process payments, banking and electronic transactions
• Support sales invoicing and account administration
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Provide wider finance administration and reporting support

The candidate:

• AAT qualified, studying towards, or QBE
• Previous purchase ledger or transactional finance experience
• Good understanding of reconciliations and accounting processes
• Strong IT and Excel skills with excellent attention to detail
• Organised, reliable and confident communicator
