My client is looking for a proactive, motivated and driven individual that wants to develop their accounting skill while working well in a close knit team. This is a perfect opportunity for an Assistant Accountant looking for long term develop in Management Accounts, or as experienced Assistant Management Accountant looking for a structure progression plan in a global business. Description

• Support in the preparation of month end management and financial accounts
• Assist with accruals, prepayments, payroll journals
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Work closely with Management Accountants and Finance Business Partners in analysis of financial information
• Contribute in improving processes and procedures
• Help maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Provide assistance during audits and financial reviews.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• Gained similar experience in month end accounts in an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role
• Motivated to progress, develop and grow in the finance industry
• Actively studying or wanting to pursue ACCA, CIMA studies
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
• The ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days at home after training)
• Study support in ACCA, CIMA
