We are recruiting an experienced MOT Technician to join our established, family-run independent garage in Mold. This MOT Technician role offers a salary of up to £35,000, depending on experience, plus a bonus. Benefits: Salary up to £35,000, depending on experience Bonus scheme Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm Saturdays on a rota, 9:00am to 12:00pm Supportive family-run working environment Company pension Ongoing training and development opportunities, including electric vehicle trainingAs a MOT Technician, your responsibilities will include: Diagnosing complex faults across a wide range of vehicle systems Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults accurately Working on clutches, cambelts and associated mechanical systems Completing video vehicle health assessments to identify issues and potential additional work Managing time efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction Communicating clearly with colleagues and customers regarding work progress Providing technical guidance and coaching to fellow team members Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work bay Carrying out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards, where requiredTo succeed as a MOT Technician, you will need: Proven experience within a vehicle technician or automotive repair role Experience using diagnostic equipment Experience working on clutches and cambelts An MOT testing licence is desirable but not essential Ideally, a Level 3 vehicle maintenance and repair qualification A full UK driving licence A professional approach and commitment to delivering excellent workmanshipThis MOT Technician opportunity is ideal for an experienced automotive professional seeking a long-term position with a respected independent garage.
