Data Analyst – Up to £50,000

10-Month FTC | Hybrid – Weekly in Sheffield

I'm recruiting for an experienced Data Analyst to join an established organisation going through a major data and technology transformation.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on SQL, data analysis and improving data quality. You'll be working with data from multiple systems, investigating issues and working closely with business stakeholders to deliver accurate, reliable data.

The Role

• Use SQL to extract, analyse and transform data
• Investigate complex datasets and resolve data quality issues
• Carry out data cleansing, profiling, mapping and reconciliation
• Support data migration and system transformation activities
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical teams

Skills & Experience

• Advanced SQL – essential
• Strong hands-on data analysis experience
• Data cleansing, validation and reconciliation
• Good Excel skills, ideally including Power Query
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to investigate problems and work independently
• Experience working with data from multiple systems

Desirable

• SAP / SAP S/4HANA
• Data migration or ERP transformation experience
• Power BI or Python

• Up to £50,000
• Initial 10-month FTC
• Hybrid – weekly travel to Sheffield
• No visa sponsorship available
