The school is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. About the School The school supports pupils with a range of special educational needs, including: Autism (ASC) ADHD Speech and language needs Sensory processing difficulties Global developmental delay Complex learning needs The Role Provide 1:1 and small-group support across primary and secondary classes. Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning. Follow EHCP targets and individual learning plans. Assist with personal care where required. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals. Maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environment. Encourage independence, confidence and social development. The Ideal Candidate Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, autism, ADHD or complex needs. A patient, calm and resilient approach. Confidence working with pupils across different age groups. Ability to support pupils with non-verbal or limited communication. Willingness to assist with personal care where required. A proactive attitude and strong teamwork skills. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
