Traffic Marshal - Chesterfield Location: Chesterfield Rate: £18 per hour CIS Start Date: Tuesday 3rd November 2026 Hours: Circa 10-12 hours per day Contract: Long-term project We are recruiting for an experienced Traffic Marshal to join a long-term infrastructure project in Chesterfield, working for a Tier 1 contractor. Requirements: - CPCS A73 Traffic Marshal certification, or the equivalent NPORS Traffic Marshal qualification with a CSCS logo on the card. - Previous experience in a Traffic Marshal or Gateman role preferred. - Good understanding of site health and safety procedures. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work safely around vehicles, plant and site operatives. Responsibilities: - Directing and controlling the movement of vehicles and plant on site. - Managing safe vehicle access and egress. - Maintaining safe pedestrian routes and working areas. - Communicating with plant operators and site management. - Following site traffic management plans and health and safety procedures.
