About the role

We’re looking for caring, compassionate Community Care Assistants to join our team at Austin Ben. As a Community Care Assistant no two days are exactly the same but every day gives you the opportunity to make someone's day a little better.

Daily responsibilities typically include -

• Delivering care within clients'own homes.
• Support personal care & daily routines with dignity & respect.
• Prepare nutritious meals & support mealtimes.
• Support with medication safely & in line with care plans.
• Help with everyday tasks, including light household duties & shopping.
• Provide companionship & encouragement, helping people remain independent.
• Keep accurate care records & follow individual care plans.

Shift Pattern & Hours

07:00-14:30 and 14:30-22:00 (mixed). Alternate weekend working required.

To join our team, you’ll need:

• A full UK driving licence
• Access to your own vehicle
• A genuine passion for supporting others

Successful candidates will be subject to an appropriate DBS check and satisfactory references in accordance with our safeguarding policy.
