HR Advisor - Temporary

Pay Rate: £16.00 - £18.00 per hour

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a temporary HR Advisor to join a busy and supportive HR team based in Deeside. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and is confident providing professional HR advice and support across a range of people-related matters.

The Role

As an HR Advisor, you will provide proactive HR support to managers and employees, ensuring HR policies, procedures and best practice are applied effectively. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, supporting recruitment, employee relations, absence management, organisational change and general HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures and employment-related matters.
• Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including drafting job descriptions, shortlisting candidates and providing interview panel support.
• Process recruitment administration, including offers of employment and maintaining accurate records and systems.
• Source and coordinate agency workers and temporary cover where required.
• Calculate annual leave entitlements for starters, leavers and employee contract changes.
• Advise and support employees through maternity, paternity and adoption leave processes.
• Support managers with absence management cases and attend formal meetings where required.
• Conduct or support investigations relating to disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Assist with organisational change projects alongside the HR Business Partner.
• Advise managers on contractual matters, including fixed-term contract extensions and terminations.
• Monitor HR KPIs and work with managers to address areas of non-compliance.
• Ensure compliance with current employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of written and verbal communication.

About You

• Previous experience within a HR Advisor or similar HR generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience supporting recruitment and employee relations processes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with managers and employees at all levels.
• CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD would be advantageous.
