Our leading international law firm client based in the heart of the City is seeking an experienced Trade Mark Docketing Specialist to join their highly regarded Intellectual Property team on a temporary basis until the end of the year. This role is 3 days in the office and 2 days from home and based in the heart of the city. Depending on experience, this role is paying up to £55,000.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain trade mark due dates, reminders and records within the docketing system.
• Process incoming trade mark correspondence, including emails, post and communications from trade mark offices.
• Generate routine correspondence and documentation relating to international trade mark applications.
• Prepare and distribute docket reports and monitor key deadlines.
• Liaise with the UKIPO, EUIPO, WIPO and international agents regarding trade mark matters.
• Support fee earners by keeping them informed of developments affecting IP applications and registrations.
• Assist with new matter openings, vendor invoices and file transfers.
• Conduct trade mark research and assist with the review of UK, EU and international procedures.
• Coordinate trade mark docket meetings and provide additional support to the team as required.

About You

• Previous experience in a Trade Mark Docketing, IP Administrator or similar role.
• Strong understanding of trade mark procedures and deadline management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience working within a law firm or professional services environment is highly desirable.
