An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a highly regarded Legal 500 team at Partner level and play a leading role in the continued growth of its Wills, Trusts & Probate practice in Dorchester and across Dorset.
This is a particularly attractive opportunity for an established Private Client Lawyer looking to build and develop their own practice within a respected regional firm, with an established client base including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, farming families and landed estates.
The Role:
As a Private Client Partner, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead and develop the Wills, Trusts & Probate offering across Dorset
- Manage a high-quality caseload including complex wills, estates, trusts, tax and succession planning
- Advise high-net-worth individuals, business owners, farming families and landed estates
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, professional advisers and referrers
- Generate new business and contribute to the strategic growth of the practice
- Mentor and support Junior Lawyers as the team continues to develop
- Work closely with other specialist teams including Residential Property, Commercial, Construction and Family
About You:
- Experienced Private Client Solicitor at Partner or Senior Associate level
- Strong technical experience across Wills, Trusts & Probate
- Confident handling complex estates, trusts and tax/succession planning
- Strong client relationship and business development skills
- Established professional network and ability to develop new opportunities
- Commercially minded and ambitious
- Collaborative approach with an interest in mentoring and developing others
- STEP qualified or working towards STEP would be advantageous
