HGV Class 1 Driver Swindon | Ongoing 4 on / 4 off rota OR 5 on 3 OFF | National supermarket contract We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a busy national supermarket operation based in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver who is confident with store deliveries, refrigerated trailers and collections/deliveries. You’ll be driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle, operating a refrigerated / temperature-controlled truck, and supporting a professional, fast-paced logistics network. Why you’ll love this role * Work with a leading national supermarket contract * Ongoing, consistent work on a 4 on / 4 off rota or 5 on 3 off * Temperature-controlled, professional driving environment * Store delivery work with a well-organised operation * Supportive recruitment process with a strong focus on matching the right driver to the role Key responsibilities * Carry out safe and timely collections and deliveries to supermarket stores and depots * Operate a refrigerated Class 1 vehicle in line with temperature-controlled transport procedures * Load and unload goods, including use of a PPT where required * Complete vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery paperwork * Deliver excellent customer service while representing the client professionally * Comply with all road transport, tachograph and working time regulations Requirements * Aged 25 or over * Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence * Minimum 1* years’ HGV driving experience* * No more than 6 points on licence * No CD, DD or IN endorsements * Previous experience with refrigerated / temperature-controlled trailers * Confident with store delivery work and loading/unloading using a PPT * Happy to work a 4 on / 4 off OR 5 on 3 off rota on an ongoing basis Interested?
