Due to continued project growth and increasing client demand, we are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to join a highly collaborative team based in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead enterprise-scale Salesforce transformation programmes, providing technical leadership across complex client engagements and helping deliver innovative solutions for a range of well-known organisations across multiple industries.

The Role

As a Salesforce Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical design and delivery of Salesforce solutions, guiding development teams, and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with Architects, Consultants, Business Analysts, and stakeholders, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across multiple projects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Salesforce Developers and wider delivery teams.
• Design scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
• Oversee integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Support architecture discussions and contribute to technical strategy and roadmaps.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards, governance, and best practices.
• Manage technical risk and ensure solutions are aligned with security, performance, and scalability requirements.
• Support testing, deployment, release management, and post-go-live activities.
• Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. Applicants should be able to demonstrate the right to obtain clearance, have a suitable UK residency history (typically 5 years), and be willing to undergo pre-employment screening and vetting. Eligibility to meet these requirements is essential for this position.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Lead, Senior Salesforce Developer, or Salesforce Solution Architect.
• Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce platform development.
• Experience designing and delivering complex Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, and middleware technologies.
• Experience leading development teams within Agile delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to mentor developers and provide technical leadership.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and solution design capabilities.

Desirable Experience

• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
• Salesforce Application Architect and/or System Architect certification.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) pathway experience.
• Previous experience within a consulting or professional services environment.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management tools.
• Experience with MuleSoft or other integration technologies.
