Housing Assistant - High Wycombe
Location: High Wycombe
Pay: £22 per hour Umbrella
Contract: Initial 3-month contract
Hours: 28 hours per week,
Monday to Thursday
Working pattern:
Hybrid, 2 days office / 2 days home
Your new companyYou'll be joining an established social housing provider in High Wycombe, supporting its housing management service on an initial three-month contract.This is a great opportunity for someone with previous housing, tenancy management or housing administration experience who is comfortable managing detailed casework and communicating directly with residents.
Your new roleAs a Housing Assistant, you'll primarily support the management of tenancy succession cases, ensuring applications and supporting evidence are reviewed accurately and cases are progressed efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and supporting tenancy succession cases
• Reviewing applications and supporting documentation
• Assessing eligibility and residency information
• Reviewing evidence of occupation
• Investigating individual circumstances and gathering additional information
• Liaising with residents throughout the process
• Maintaining accurate case notes and housing records
• Providing general administrative support across tenancy management
• Working closely with colleagues to progress cases through to resolution

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in social housing, tenancy management or housing administration
• Strong administration and case-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Confidence reviewing evidence and supporting documentation
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to deal with sensitive housing matters professionally
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience dealing with tenancy successions or tenancy changes would be particularly advantageous
