SJC Partners are working with a leading regional law firm that is looking to recruit a Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team across Shrewsbury and Ludlow.
The firm has an excellent reputation across Shropshire and the surrounding areas, with an established Private Client practice advising individuals and families on a broad range of Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Planning matters.

Role
The successful candidate will ideally be a Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE and will have experience handling a broad range of Private Client matters.
You will manage your own general Private Client caseload, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Estate Administration, while developing strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
The firm is also keen to speak with candidates who enjoy business development and are interested in building their profile within the local market.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied Private Client caseload
• Drafting and advising on Wills and succession planning
• Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Handling Probate and Estate Administration matters
• Advising on Trusts and related matters
• Providing advice on Estate Planning
• Drafting and reviewing relevant Private Client documentation
• Liaising with clients, beneficiaries and other professional advisers
• Providing clear and practical advice throughout matters
• Developing long-term relationships with clients and professional contacts
• Maintaining high standards of client care and file management
• Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the department
• Building your professional profile within the local market
