Deputy Divisional Director – Delegate Sales | B2B Events

Coach, mentor and guide Delegate Sales teams

Salary: Up to £60,000 base + override on team performance, OTE £100,000

Location: London, Hybrid working + Travel

About the Role

A well-established, corporate B2B events business is looking for an experienced delegate sales leader to join as Deputy Divisional Director, reporting directly to the Head of Delegate Sales. This is a newly created role, designed to bring senior-level coaching and structure to a large, fast-growing team of delegate sales professionals.

We're looking for this person to support the teams with coaching, mentoring, guidance and fresh thinking, helping managers and their teams keep developing.

It's a genuine investment in people, and a real opportunity for someone who enjoys building others up as much as hitting a number.

What the Role Involves

• Working and supporting individual teams
• Creating training material
• Coaching and upskilling managers
• Training sales executives directly where needed, alongside the managers
• Bringing external experience and fresh ideas into a delegate team that has, until now, promoted almost exclusively from within
• Reinforcing sales processes and standards consistently across the teams you work with
• Earning an override on the performance of the teams you're supporting at any given time
• Lead on recruitment and onboarding of new sales professionals

What You'll Need

• Proven and significant experience in a delegate sales management role within B2B events (paid-ticket, high-value conference sales)
• Current experience managing managers, not just individual contributors
• A genuine passion for coaching and developing delegate sales people
• Ability to create training strategy for the delegate sales division
• The credibility and gravitas to hold senior-level conversations and be taken seriously by a large, established sales floor
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven, high-outbound environment
