We are looking for an Employment Solicitor to join a growing legal team in Leeds, advising and representing clients across a varied range of Employment disputes. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 0 to 3 years PQE to strengthen their technical expertise while working alongside experienced lawyers in a forward thinking environment.

Description

The Employment Solicitor will be:

* Advising, representing and supporting clients across a broad range of Employment matters

* Managing and conducting claims involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE and whistleblowing

* Conducting Employment claims within the relevant legal framework, including Employment Tribunal and civil court proceedings

* Communicating effectively with clients, opponents, Counsel, courts and other relevant third parties

* Working within an insurance funded litigation environment, including considering policy coverage

* Providing claims handling support to insurers where required

* Working across the business to deliver accurate, timely and commercially focused legal services

* Providing a caring and high quality service to clients in line with organisational standards and targets

* Maintaining professional standards and complying with SRA, Law Society and other relevant regulatory requirements

• * Delegating and supervising work undertaken by paralegals, trainee solicitors, secretaries and other support staff

Profile

The Employment Solicitor should be:

* A solicitor with approximately 0 to 3 years PQE

* Experienced in Employment law, ideally with exposure to contentious Employment matters

* Experienced in matters including unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE and whistleblowing

* Confident in conducting litigation and communicating with clients and professional stakeholders

* Able to work effectively within an insurance funded litigation environment

* Commercially aware with a strong focus on delivering excellent client service

* Organised and capable of managing a varied caseload with accuracy and attention to detail

* Comfortable working independently while contributing effectively to a wider team

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £48,000 to £55,000
