Campbell Grove Talent are working with an accountancy practice right in the heart of Leeds city centre, who are looking for an Audit Senior to join their team. This is a firm leading by example on how to grow a truly fantastic culture.

What makes this place special?

Firstly - career progression is at the heart of everything they do. They continuously promote from within and ensure everyone has clear career objectives to get where they want to be, and fast!

The team makes this place what it is. Genuinely good people, motivational leaders, and individuals who look out for each other and truly enjoy working together. They have a refreshing outlook on the social side of business too, including regular events, a team that pulls together rather than pulling apart, and a nice Christmas bonus too as a thank you.

What you'll be doing:

As the Audit Senior, you'll be taking ownership of audit assignments from start to finish. You'll be working with a portfolio of owner-managed businesses (the interesting ones where you can really make a difference), preparing statutory accounts and coaching junior staff and helping shape the next generation of auditors.

A varied and challenging role with the day to day including the following:

• Taking charge of audit engagements from initial planning through to sign-off
• Reviewing financial statements and internal controls
• Keeping jobs on track - both financially and time-wise, while keeping clients happy
• Supporting and developing junior team members
• Being proactive in spotting ways to bring extra value to your clients

Who are they looking for?

Someone who's already got solid audit experience at Audit Senior level or is ready to step up.

Ideally you'll be ACA/ACCA qualified and comfortable managing your own portfolio.

Client-facing skills matter here - these are real businesses run by real people, and you need to be able to build those relationships.

Mostly important, someone who fits the culture. Someone collaborative, ambitious, and genuinely nice to work with.

Interested?

If you're an Audit Senior who's tired of being just a number, or you're ready to step up and want to do it somewhere that'll really support you, then please apply with your CV or reach out to Lucy Regan or Emma Dugdale for a confidential chat.
